Fighting a virus

one wisdom teeth down... one to go
today... after years of evading it, one of my wisdom teeth (the one on the jaw bone on the right side) was removed... i was very nervous... but the actual procedure was almost painless and now... about 8 hours after... it doesn't hurt me that much.... i hope i recover without problems... | | Sunday, December 31st, 2006 | | 11:35 pm |

Mi pobre higado....
Anoche... como mi familia (papas y hermanos) se fueron por fiestas patrias a argentina (yo no pude ir, pq en la U no me dieron vacaciones GRACIASSSSSS) hicimos un asado con amigos de la U y yo cache que habian dos botellas de vodka.... asi que cuando fuimos a comprar las cosas, yo me compre un jugo de naranja y mientras mis compañeros se tomaban unos rones y whisky... yo solito solito me iba bajando el vodka, con juguito de naranja (digamos... que durante unas 8 horas) En resumen... del vodka quedara como 1/10.... lo demas esta en alguna parte de mi cuerpo y no me siento tan mal... asi que parece que es cierto que el vodka no produce hachazo Now... in english Last night, since my family (dad, mom, and my bros) went because of the hollidays to argentina (i couldn't go because my university didn't gave me vacations... THANKSSSSSS), with some friends we did a barbecue in my house. I noticed that two vodka bottles where on the pantry... so, when we went shopping for the groceries for the bbq, i added a carton of orange juice. While my friends drank rum and whisky... i alone was taking shots of vodka with orange juice (let say for about 8 hours) In the end... there would be approx. 10% of the vodka left... the rest it's inside my body somewhere and i don't feel that bad... so it seems that it's true that vodka doesn't left a hangover | | Monday, September 11th, 2006 | | 9:57 am |
Another 9/11; for us and for the world: for us chileans, marks another anniversary of the 73 coup d'etat; for the very few who read this and don't know what happened on that day just let me say that the right wing overthrow the left wing government of allende; my personal view on the matter it's that something has to be done at the time, because if that goverment stayed, chile would have started a civil war... but it's also true that the "dictadura" abused his power and committed abuses on the civil rights (well, what dictatorship doesn't in a degree) The thing that brings me to speak of this is that yesterday, on a march commemorating this date.. some "anarchist" elements started riots on the downtown of Santiago, fighting even the communist partidaries who where also around; after that, when the march was passing next to "la casa de la moneda" (the house of govermment, where the presidential power goes to work, sort to speak) the same "anarchists" threw a molotov bomb to a window..... i'm not sure why they did what they did, or what they where to symbolize with that... or they just did it because they like to throw incendiary bombs at anything... anyway, this monday, the eleventh, for the rest of the world, it marks a more recent, and probably a more important date worldwide: the attack on the twin towers; but i think it's more significant the afterwards of that: the war on iraq, the steep rise on the prices of oil, the USA paranoia, the patriot act, (thank to that, i have to forget about going to visit that country until maybe ten more years, when INS doesn't think i want to migrate there... but well), the DMCA who has make piracy a little bit more complicated, etc etc. I think of the situation, and 1984 sounds so prophetic, every day that passes. An update
Let's see: time... about 5:45 am place: my house situation: my little bro, daniel, birthday party why i'm here and not on my warm bed sleeping?: because some of his guest give me a bad felling, like they will steal something or such... so, i wanna be around when they leave But well, in other news, i'm doing fine in the university, my grades are ok, the courses are not hard (perspective drawing it's a lot more easy and fun that what i expected, i knew that all that hours in schooll drawing boxes and such would pay off some day) The sentimental side of my life it is what is lacking right now... i have a friend... who just called me about 2 hours ago.... only to masturbate and let me hear it... and then ask me what i feel about her; i like her a lot, but she's in a relationship of sorts with a guy (lot of sex, not much commitment), but even so she teases me... saying that the things with her current guy won't last much, but when i ask her what does she feels, she doesn't answer; i'm getting tired of the situation very quickly... i'm not in the mood of being the second choice, just waiting her to be available... so... i'll see when i get bored of the situation, and in one of my typicall rage attacks, tell her to go to hell (has happenned before, and it'll keep happening) | | Sunday, May 28th, 2006 | | 12:38 pm |

It's getting stupid
remeber the awe we felt when gmail started offering 1gb of free mail?? well... now it's getting stupid in www.mailnation.net you can get... 1 TERABYTE (a thousand Gigabytes) of storage... for free... not even with an invitacion like in gmail.... now... not even in my whole mp3 collection i got 1 TB of files.... (well... maybe i got more than a hundred cd... so it's posible that i got more than a tb of music) i think that even getting my mail intencionally on a lot of spam list i'll never fill that account... i think a terabyte it's a little overkill :) |
